"Enter to Worship ~ Depart to Serve"
Where the Spirit Flows

God has been good to us and has brought First Baptist from a blessed beginning but yet challenging present. Our church feels the greatest challenge facing the Body of Christ in this new millennium is that of authentic growth.

Reverend Veasey issues the challenge that: "Church growth is part of the divine grace of God, which occurs in the context of its struggles, tension and opposition within and without respect of person. Scripture teaches that we grow because of and not in spite of tribulations and troubles." We believe at First Baptist that the community of faith has recognized this dynamic growth and embrace the challenges of being stretched beyond our current limits that, "God is glorified in the fires of adversity."

We hope you come back often to view the information presented on our website and look forward to your visit with us here at FBMC. Be blessed as you peruse and use the contents of our site for your edification. Be sure to sign our Guest Book before you leave. Remember "there are no small churches only churches with small minded people."
